Dec.  7     3RD Grades to KARK Channel 4 in Little Rock

Dec.  10      Pee Wee games with Sacred Heart rescheduled for this night…first game is at 5:00

Dec. 17         Extended deadline for PTO Raffle sells.

Dec. 18       Christmas Movie Field Trip for ALL of Elementary….permission slips coming home soon.  $5 for admission, coke and popcorn per child.

Dec. 19       Christmas Party Day @ 11:30 to 12:30.  SEND $1 PER CHILD to help teachers with party snacks.  NO GIFTS WILL BE EXCHANGED

Dec. 20       EARLY OUR FOR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY AT 1:00

Dec. 21 – Jan 7 NO SCHOOL ~ Christmas Holiday ~ MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

 

  • A GREAT BIG THANK YOU:   We would like to thank all of the uniformed presenters who came to talk to our kids for the Career Fair Thursday.  Med Tech Ambulance and Center Ridge/Springfield Fire Volunteer Firefighters Bradley Hill, Emily Stell, Rocky Maxwell & Michelle Keith; Arkansas State Trooper Corporal Brenda Stevenson; Amanda Morrow RN; Air Evac Lifeteam crew, Nurse Josh Davis, paramedic Michael Sipes and pilot Jonah Gibby; Law Enforcement Officer David Cadle; Special Agent Mia Prince from the U.S. Forest Service; Lawana Lyon from Conway County School Counts.

  • SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR:  TOMORROW IS LAST DAY FOR BOOK FAIR!  Nemo Vista Elementary/MS Library will sponsor a book fair November 26th – 30th. Profits will used to buy books, more makerspaces and technology upgrades.
  • NEMO VISTA HOMECOMING IS NEXT FRIDAY DECEMBER 7THFestivities begin at 5:00
  • PTO RAFFLE:  PTO has extended the raffle deadline until December 17thTicket packets have gone home with those who brought back their signed permission slips.  Please help our PTO with this fundraiser! 1st prize- 48” BOBCAT CRZ ZERO TURN LAWNMOWER; 2nd prize – 65 QT. YETI COOLER; 3rd prize – CVA 209 WOLF 50 CALIBER MUZZLELOADER; 4th prize – WEED EATER RED MAXX; 5th prize – 20 ONE HOUR JUMP TIME TICKETS TO URBAN AIR; 6th prize – YETI BAG COOLER; 7th prize- 30 GALLON QUICK LOCK TRIPOD DEER FEEDER.  Drawing is December 17th so please help sell as many tickets as you can …we have only one week left to buy, buy, buy or sell, sell, sell! 
  • ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS MOVIE DAY:   We will take our K-5 Elementary students to the movies in Morrilton on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18TH.   We will be seeing “The Grinch” at the Morrilton Theatre.  Permission slips are coming home today.  $5 gets them in movie and buys them popcorn and drink.  We ask that you to please go ahead and send this permission slip and $5 back in as soon as you can so we don’t have call you for confirmation. 
  • ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PARTY DAY:  WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 19TH is Christmas Parties for Elementary. Each child is asked to bring $1 for the party in their rooms. More details will come home next week.

  • EARLY OUT FOR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY: We will release early on Thursday December 20th.  Car Riders leave at 12:45 and busses leave at 1:00

  • AMI (ALTERNATIVE METHOD of INSTRUCTION) PACKETS:   With the threat of winter weather yesterday it reminded us that we need to remind everyone about the AMI packets we sent home in September.  Please read the letter from Mrs. Virden that was attached to it informing you that your child will be responsible for this work in case of an unexpected day off from school for whatever reason.   PLEASE KEEP THIS PACKET OF HOMEWORK IN A SECURE PLACE AT HOME WHERE THEY CAN BE EASILY LOCATED AND THE WORK COMPLETED.  Call the office if you need further information.

  • SCHEDULE OF EARLY OUT DAYS FOR TEACHER IN SERVICE FOR REST OF YEARFollowing is the In Service early out schedule for rest of year.  These In Service early out  is always the last Wednesday of the month except the months of DECEMBER, MARCH OR MAY;

  • Next early out days to put on your calendar or reminders is:  WEDNESDAY JANUARY 30TH, WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 27TH, WEDNESDAY APRIL 24TH
  • YEARBOOK REMINDER:  The next deadline for a yearbook at a reduced price is December 31st…cost will be $34; last date to be able to buy one at regular price is February 15th.
