Aug. 13      FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL For The 2019-20 School Year

  • SPRING FLING CARNIVAL:    TOMORROW, Friday April 26th from 5:00-8:00 THEY ARE IN NEED OF CANDY TO USE FOR PRIZES AT EACH BOOTH!! A REMINDER FLYER IS COMING HOME TODAY IN THE RED FOLDER WITH A LIST OF AUCTION BASKETS & CARNIVAL GAMES. Please volunteer your time and help supply the items needed to make this fund raiser successful.  Our PTO provides an integral service to ALL of our students and campus.  Thank you all in advance for your help!
  • FREEDOM OF CHOICE: If you do not live in our school district and want to attend our school you must submit a freedom of choice application to the superintendent’s office before May 1st, 2018.
  • EVENT DAY: Track meet is Wednesday May 1st. There will be various concessions throughout the day. Please put your child’s spending money inside a zip lock bag or envelope with their name and teacher’s name on it. PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY FOR YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER TO DIVIDE BETWEEN SIBLINGS IN ANOTHER CLASSROOM. Various candies will be sold for .25-1.25, snow cones & chips for .50, canned drinks for .75, and bottled water for 1.00.
  • 5th & 6th GRADE TRACK MEET: Our 5th & 6th graders will participate in our annual track meet Wednesday, May 1st. Parents and relatives are welcome to come watch. You DO NOT have to sign in at the office if you stay with and follow the track meet schedule. If you need to go inside ANY building at ANY time you will MUST sign in at the office first.
  • MOVIE NIGHT FRIDAY MAY 10TH Reminder flyers will be come home next week……PARKING IS IN NEW GYM PARKING LOT. WE WILL DIRECT YOU WHERE TO SET YOUR LAWNCHAIRS AND BLANKETS.  Activities begin at 7:00
  • BOGO SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR:  All week May 6-10th. Mrs. Ketchum will also have the Book Fair open for the movie goers on Movie night from 6:30 until 7:30.
  • SPLASH DAY:  Our rental company sold its business and therefore booted us out of having items to play on for Tuesday May 14th….We changed the Splash Day to Monday May 13th to be able to get the kids the big fun blow up rentals they are used to…..if you are a Splash Day volunteer please make this adjustment in your calendar. 
  • LIL HAWKS BASKETBALL CAMP JULY 8TH - 10TH 2019:  Mrs. Virden wants to announce the dates & times for this summer’s basketball camp for all K-6 graders. It will be held in 2 sessions just like years past. If you have students entering 4th – 6th grades they will come to the new gym for camp at 8:30 – 11:30 AM for the morning session. All students entering Kindergarten – 3rd grades will come to camp at the new gym from 5:30 – 7:00 PM for the evening session. Make plans to attend this very fun & informative camp. Invite your relatives from other schools and help spread the word. The more the merrier! Camp registrations forms will be sent home at a later date.
  • LUNCH  & LIBRARY CHARGES: If you owe for lunch or library charges you must pay before the last day of school. If you still owe money on the last day you will not receive your child’s final report card. You will have to come to the office or cafeteria office to pay your charges and get your child’s report card.
