Coolest name ever?? Prentice Dupins

Website Journalism students Eidan Enriquez and Nicolas McClure interviewed Middle School Literacy teacher Prentice Dupins.  When asked what subject he would teach if he weren’t already an established English teacher, Mr. Dupins said he would teach music.  He has a degree in music performance, and says music plays a significant role in his life.  Dupins says that Greek Mythology is one of the most entertaining subjects to teach, and that there have been several “interesting” moments while covering this material.  Over the summer, Mr. Dupins and his family vacationed in Dallas, TX and visited many tourist attractions, including Six Flags.  He and his wife were also able to travel to Chicago and see the Broadway musical, Hamilton.  Mr. Dupins was raised in North Little Rock, attended school at Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School, and graduated college from Arkansas Tech University.  When asked about his inspiration, Dupins said that he doesn’t have any one person who inspires him, per se.  He is inspired by life itself!
